What’s the position?

The Business Analyst, Sportsbook Coordination is the analytical and operational efficiency engine of the Hard Rock Digital Sportsbook operations - the person who gets under the hood of how the Sportsbook operates, documents it clearly, and turns that understanding into practical and measurable improvements.

The Business Analyst focuses on improving processes: mapping how work moves today, gathering requirements from the teams involved, identifying inefficiencies and gaps, and proposing changes that make cross-team collaboration simpler and more reliable. The Coordination is accountable for keeping the Sportsbook running to a consistent operating rhythm, while the Business Analyst contributes to the analysis, documentation, and reporting that make that rhythm possible.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, curious, detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to turn complex problems into solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing Sportsbook processes across teams to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, manual effort, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate working sessions and discussions with key stakeholders to uncover needs, pain points, and dependencies while turning those pain points into actionable improvements.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that technical and non-technical teams can act on and comprehend.
  • Support new workstreams by documenting requirements, mapping dependencies, and tracking assigned steps through to completion.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current capabilities and desired outcomes, and recommend practical improvements within established coordination frameworks.
  • Monitor and maintain process documentation, trackers, and templates.
  • Escalate risks, blockers, and emerging issues early so they can be resolved before they affect the wider Sportsbook.
  • Create clear process maps and workflow documentation that capture current and future states, using tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Slack, Monday.com , and Lucidchart.
