Job description

Responsibilities: The Coder II is responsible for assigning and verifying accurate ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for inpatient accounts by reviewing electronic health records. They must ensure coding accuracy and completeness to facilitate proper reimbursement and adhere to official coding guidelines.

Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years of hospital coding experience. Candidates must have completed a certified coding program and be eligible for RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certifications.
