Medical Coder

Responsibilities: Accurately assign medical codes including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS based on documentation across various medical specialties. Ensure compliance with SLAs, maintain high quality and productivity targets, and respond to audits within set timeframes.

Requirements: Requires a High School Diploma, active AHIMA or AAPC certification, and at least 3 years of experience with DoD medical coding. Candidates must be US citizens capable of securing a DOD security clearance and demonstrate a minimum accuracy rating of 97%.
