Production Underwriter - E & S Insurance - West Region

Writes new business opportunities comprising of various coverage lines of business but not limited to; commercial property and general liability, excess and inland marine. Market the companies’ products through assigned MGA agents within a specific territory. Assist with generating and subsequently working towards specific production goals for each agent. Review risks outside of our agent’s authority and determine an underwriting decision to accept or reject the risk as well as the terms and conditions of the account. Regularly travel to key agents and remain highly visible in the insurance marketplace. Discuss performance with agents and opportunities for growth and improvement.
